Terrific crew & ship and a lovely passage to the Azores. Crew & Guests very good and patient with someone who only spoke English. It would be difficult to find a better one.

This is a terrifically well run vessel, or was on this trip. Excellent accommodation, well serviced by a professional crew. All very friendly, helpful and willing to give information throughout. Many opportunities to get involved in most aspects of the ships operation & involvement in the vessel's past history.
The Island was beautiful and rather unexpected.

We both loved the experience in the Zodiac and swimming. Going out on the bowsprit and up the rigging were also very memorable.

Interacting with all the crew members we can feel the Team spirit and that was the most important!

Seeing the ship sailing with all the sails in the middle of the ocean was one of the most beautiful moments.

The SMM looked very nice with an interior and deck remodel.

The best magic, besides being with a very special group, was coming on deck to see the stars at 5 am and see the sunrise. The dolphin encounter was also special.

A dream experience of an Irish family, mother and 2 older children.

It was a daily pleasure to watch the highly competent and motivated crew perform their duties!

The dolphins travelling alongside us when we travelled out of Pta Delgada, I will always remember.

It was an excellent choice for our honeymoon. Everyone contributed greatly to a very welcoming trip!

I have been doing celestial navigation for 40 years and had many great experiences with mate Paulinho taking evening star sights together.

I want to especially note the Captain (Joao) and Second Officer Joao who were wonderful showing us how to steer, explaining the maps and routes and contributing to learning.

Unforgettable trip from the moonlit nights to spotting dolphins and sharks and whales. Just being on board of SMM was great.

I had an amazing time and would want to return to SMM again!

Climbing up the mast ladder was a real adrenaline rush but the view from up there was so worth it, I loved it!

Three hurrahs to all members for their empathy, their commitment in well being of customers and complete availability to answer all questions and demands. Congrats!!!

THE HISTORY OF SANTA MARIA MANUELA

This was a special day in Lisbon. Hundreds of people gathered on the docks of Rocha do Conde de Óbidos, in Alcântara, to witness the launch of two ships that had just been built: Santa Maria Manuela and Creoula.
